Description of the project

The aim of the project was to develop modern methods for studying complex systems based on results in stochastic geometry, theory of stochastic evolution, as well as methods of mathematical analysis, combinatorics and computer simulations. The activities were also planned to develop a number of new models of dynamic systems studied in statistical physics, spatial ecology, evolutionary and population biology, epidemiology, etc. Such systems consist of a large number of interacting units residing in continuous spaces and undergoing stochastic evolution.
