The aim of the project is to compare the mechanisms of generation and transmission of APs in Charophyta algae, i.e. objects of the study of the Lithuanian research group, and liverworts, which have been examined for years by the Polish partners. As a result of the project accomplishment, the knowledge about the early stages of evolution of long-distance signaling in plants will be wnriched. Moreover, a simple and low cost system will be developed to examine the effects of different anticancer and antifilovirus drugs in a plant model.
