The Fulbright Specialist Program allows universities, cultural centers, non-governmental organizations, and other institutions abroad to host a leading U.S. academic or professional to work on diverse, short-term collaborative projects (14 – 42 calendar days).
Upon returning to the U.S., program participants are able to contribute their newly gained knowledge and intercultural experience to their home institution or organization. Program participants will also become part of a network of thousands of accomplished Fulbright alumni, opening the door to additional grant possibilities, enhanced career development, and alumni networking and leadership opportunities.
Spanning a wide range of professional and academic fields, Fulbright Specialist projects have an educational or training focus, address institutional priorities, and promote beneficial linkages between American and Polish host institutions.
The program’s ongoing call accepts applications for specialist visits to be completed between September 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.
This year’s call prioritizes projects dedicated to sharing, disseminating, and implementing best practices for innovative education developed in the United States. Education needs to change and modernize teaching and learning methods to meet the challenges of a changing world.
