Description of the project

The aim of the BARMIG project is to conduct international, comparative research on the role of industrial relations in the context of migrant work in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
In particular, it is about how trade unions, employers and other stakeholders deal with hiring non-EU workers. The project will analyze 5 sectors: healthcare, metal industry, construction, services and digital economy in six countries of Central and Eastern Europe, ie Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
