Programme: EIT HEI Innitiative: Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education
Joining a network of more than 270 organisations, UMCS will participate in the EIT HEI Initiative, which aims to support educational institutions with expertise, funding, and access to the EIT innovation ecosystem. Running since 2021, the EIT's flagship programme helps HEIs develop and implement action plans to improve their entrepreneurial and innovation capabilities at all institutional levels.
The AccEnt project, which will be implemented at UMCS, aims to strengthen the University's collaboration with its ecosystem partners. It focuses on improving and expanding core entrepreneurship activities at three different levels: students (entrepreneurship); lecturers and researchers (founders, academic spin-offs); and ecosystems (scale-up, open innovation).
