The International Cooperation Center gladly inform about the success of dr hab. Michał Łuszczuk in the BEETHOVEN CLASSIC 3 programme, carried out by the National Science Center in cooperation with the German Research Community (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft; DFG).

He will implement the project “Sustainable urban development in the European Arctic. Towards Enhanced Transnational Cooperation in Remote Regions” in amount of 564 680.12 EUR (MCSU budget: EUR 114 649.12). Project proposal was prepared also by dr Katarzyna Radzik-Maruszak from the Faculty of Political Science. Project research will examine how transnational cooperation between urban areas of the outermost regions, in the specific case of the Arctic, can be increased for better harmonization of sustainable development practices in such places.
