The International Cooperation Center and the Institute of Biological Sciences of UMCS invite you to a meeting with prof. dr. Jaco Vangronsveld, a well recognized scientist and coordinator of international grants.
The meeting will take place on January 22, 2020 at 12 a.m. in the Auditorium (0131B) of the Institute of Biological Sciences.
Professor Jaco Vangronsveld is currently employed at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology UMCS, he is also the director of the Research Institute – Center for Environmental Sciences and the leader of the Environmental Biology research group at the University of Hasselt in Belgium.
The professor is the author of over 300 articles in renowned journals from the JCR database, 36 chapters in books and many other publications. His scientific work is appreciated all over the world, as evidenced by the huge number of citations of his publications (about 17,000). He is among 1% of the most cited scientists in the world (Highly Cited Researchers list 2018 according to the Web of Science from Clarivate Analytics database).
