UMCS is among the academic and scientific institutions that will receive funding under the Polish-Wallonie programme for research projects.
2 projects will be implemented under the Programme:
Prof. Lidia Pokrzycka from the Institute of Social Communication and Media Sciences will be implementing the project entitled “E-learning and ICT in education in Poland and Belgium. Comparative research”, Partner institution: University of Mons
Anna Tatarczak (Ph.D) from the Institute of Management and Quality Sciences will be implementing the project entitled “Supply chain coordination: an approach based on the theory of cooperative games, Partner institution: Center for Operations Research and Econometrics in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve (Catholic University of Louvain).
The Poland-Wallonia bilateral exchange program is the first edition of this type of projects implemented by NAWA with a specific region in Belgium. The call for proposals is dedicated to scientific and research projects implemented jointly by international teams from Poland and Wallonia.
The starting dates of both projects are planned for autumn this year.
